Industrial Elevators: Drone Diagnostics Go Live
Deploying autonomous drones inside elevator shafts for real-time structural diagnostics. No downtime. No risk. 100% coverage.
Elevator shaft inspection has traditionally been one of the most dangerous and time-consuming maintenance tasks in the industry. Technicians must enter confined spaces, work at heights, and often shut down elevator service for extended periods. Apex Flow is eliminating these risks entirely with autonomous drone diagnostics.
Our custom-designed inspection drones are purpose-built for elevator shafts. Measuring just 30cm across, they navigate the confined space with precision, using LIDAR, thermal imaging, and high-resolution cameras to create comprehensive 3D maps of every shaft component.
The drones operate autonomously, launching from a docking station at the top of the shaft. They complete a full inspection in under 20 minutes, covering every cable, rail, bracket, and structural element. AI vision systems identify micro-fractures, corrosion, and wear patterns invisible to the human eye.
Our pilot deployments at Mississippi industrial parks have validated the approach. Maintenance teams receive detailed digital reports with annotated imagery and prioritized action items. Inspection frequency has increased from annual to monthly, while costs have dropped by 70% and human risk has been reduced to zero.
